Earn maintenance points with APICS

The APICS Certification Maintenance program allows requirements to be met through multiple sources, including employer-sponsored events and events of related organizations. Here are a few ways you can earn points directly with APICS.

Maintaining your certification is easy, and you can submit your maintenance application at any point during your maintenance cycle. Read the APICS Maintenance Handbook to ensure that you are familiar with maintenance program policies and procedures prior to submitting your application.

  1. Log in to your APICS account
  2. Access the online maintenance application (the application is accessible beginning 30 days after you initially obtain certification)
  3. Choose the designation you need to maintain
  4. Fill in the number of points you have earned in each category
  5. Pay the fee and submit the application

APICS performs random audits of certification maintenance applications. The Maintenance Audit Guidelines document will assist you with understanding audit documentation requirements.

CPIM Exam Simulator

APICS Conferences, Seminars and Workshops

Earn professional development points for attending APICS supply chain/operations management conferences, seminars, and workshops.

Online APICS Events

Access online webinars and webcasts on supply chain/operations management topics and earn 1 point per educational hour.

APICS Membership

APICS PLUS members and APICS CORE members earn 6 points per year. APICS PLUS members also receive discounted pricing on conferences, workshops, products, services, and have access to member-only webinars.
