Supply Chain Management: Beyond the Horizon

Supply Chain Management: Beyond the Horizon (BTH) is an industry-focused initiative with research and educational components conducted by Michigan State University’s (MSU) Department of Supply Chain Management, with involvement from MSU Executive Development Programs and the Broad College of Business. The study was carried out over a two-year period, with initial results published in 2015. Support is provided by the APICS and the John H. McConnell Chair in Business Administration at MSU.

Beyond the Horizon researchers conducted in-depth interviews with more than 50 supply chain firms around the world. Researchers produced white papers, case studies, and magazine articles outlining the key trends.
